May Interim in London

International finance in an international environment

International financial management, Fin/IB 323, travels to London, the World international finance capital from 22 May - 6 June 2014.

Visit some of the world's greatest financial institutions for explanations of their operations with opportunities to meet leaders and ask questions.Upon our arrival in London, we find our hotel, deposit our belongings, and take an introductory city tour. We jump on the tube for a short ride, transfer to another line, and from there hop onto a ubiquitous double decker bus. Our travel takes us past Russell Square, through Oxford Circus, along Regent Street, past Piccadilly Circus, around Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square, down Whitehall, past the Horse Guards, alongside Parliament with its famous Big Ben, across Westminster Bridge and around the Eye of London. Then we find our way back to the hotel for some well deserved rest in preparation for our class.

Class participants take full advantage of London's venue. All necessary course material will be delivered in advance. Thus, students may read, analyze problems and even complete preliminary material before traveling to London. That approach allows free time during the London visit to become familiar with the City, to experience the local culture, visit significant sights and enjoy the ambience of this fabulous city.

The instructor is Dr. Arlyn R. Rubash. This course was the first Bradley business course offered outside the country. The professor, Dr. Rubash, has taken hundreds of former Bradley students to many of the same locations we will visit in London.
