Assignment 

The new definitions of security are broad, but time and resources of any state or community are limited.  As the new National Security Advisor for  the new president you have been asked to write a 10-15 page analysis rank ordering the five most important security problems for the US. Justify not only selecting these five above all others, but also your rank ordering of the five selected problems.  To perform this task you must have a clear definition of security, an operational definition of security problem or threat to security, and criteria used for selection and ranking.

 

All papers must be typed (10-12pt font, 1" margins, standard spacing between characters, double spacing between lines and paragraphs), written in clear English, properly documented, and the original work of the student.  The final draft (both a soft copy which can be emailed and a hard copy)  is due on or before December 8, 2008.  No late papers will be accepted.
