Global Governance
Most Probably or Preferred Scenario:
- We have decided to go with
Scenario two, where in which the world would see a movement away from
individual state politics to a small group of federations of nations. We
believe this scenario is the most preferred, because it makes allocations
for states to retain a portion of their individual sovereignty, while at
the same time recognizing the will of the world to move in the direction
of integration. We believe this scenario takes into account cultural
difference and provides a more efficient way of tackling supranational
problems that don’t always affect ALL nations. This way, problems
that stay within the regional IGOs can be solved internally, and problems
that span multiple regions can be tackled through the use of bilateral
treaties.
