Course Materials

Topics

This is the topic class for Java Computing. The goals of the course are to study the client/server network computing in Java and discuss the distributed object models, architectures and technologies used in Java computing. This is not an introduction to Java programming class. Instead, this is a course to build and deploy applications that run across Internet/Intranet using Java technologies. The prerequisites for the course are CS121 and CS343. You need some knowledges of OOP, Networking in TCP/IP, GUI, and RDBMS to do the class projects.
