Part I: Report of Lecture Notes and Textbook studied on Multiple Processor Systems (Ch 8) and Security (Ch 9)

Write a Microsoft report to summarize your self-study activities. The report must have the following.

1. The time and date of your study and the topics covered in each study session.

2. The summary of each topic studied.

3. Questions and answers in each study session (you may make up the questions or use the problems at the end of each chapter from the textbook.)

4. Conclusions of knowledge learned.

Part II: OS Case Study Project

Write a detailed Microsoft word report describing the Window Vista operating system.
The following sections are required. (Try to find as much information as you can either from the books or the Internet.)

1. Overview:
   Describe the history of Window Vista and their applications.
2. Architecture:
   Describe the internal structures of Window Vista (architecture component diagram, etc.)
3. Processes and Threads:
   Describe the processes and threads model of Window Vista (scheduling algorithms used, etc.)
4. Memory Management:
   Describe the physical memory management and virtual memory management of Window Vista (page allocation algorithms used, etc.).
5. I/O System:
   Describe the I/O components and management functions of Window Vista.
6. File System:
   Describe the file system format including the file system implementation of Window Vista.
7. Security:
   Describe the security features of Window Vista.
8. Network:
   Describe the network components of Window Vista.
