Each student group needs to select one Journal/Magazine paper (such as the IEEE Transaction or ACM magazine paper) in one of the following network topics. Study the paper and write a Microsoft Word report to describe the basic concepts of the paper and the major contributions of the paper, and write a power point presentation to present your finding.

1. Wireless network, wireless communication protocol, or mobile wireless computing using Andrew/iPhone/WindowPhone.

2. Ad hoc and Wireless Sensor Network and applications.

3. Https and network security.

4. Network router, filter, and firewall.

5. Web2.0 Technologies.

6. Internet of Things (IOT)

7. Cloud Computing Technologies.

8. Cyber Forensics

9. Any other topics approved by the instructor.

(Please email your selected paper name, not just the topic name, to instructor for approval before working on it (one paper can only be selected by one student group, but several papers can be selected in the same topic.)

Submit your Microsoft Word report and PPT presentation on Sakai Drop Box before the due day.

Guidelines for the report:

1. Study the topic. Surf on the Internet for more background information
2. Report the basic concepts and the major contributions.
    Write your own report. Don't just cute and paste the text from the paper.
3. Outline for the report:
    Title and your name
    Introduction/Overview of the paper to be studied
    Basic network technology concepts
    Major contributions of the paper
    Summary
