BIO

Education:  Craig Curtis came to Bradley University in the Fall of 1991, after finishing his Ph.D. in Political Science at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.  Prior to completing his Ph.D., he completed his Master of Arts in Criminal Justice at Washington State University.  Before that, he earned his Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.  He earned his Bachlor of Arts in Political Science from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississipppi.

Personal:  Craig Curtis was born and raised in Mississippi -- although he has lost his southern drawl.  He was married to Dr. Leah E. Adams-Curtis in May of 1982, and they have two beautiful children, Anna Chimene and Galen Russell, and 2 dogs, Kipper and Bessie.

Hobbies:  Hobbies include playing folk music, making beer, playing tennis, and horsing around with his kids.  Lately, he has been playing in the Eclectic LR Band, which includes fellow Bradley Professor Mat Timm and his wife Deana Wilt.  The Band features Dr. Timm on guitar and vocals, Ms. Wilt on harmony vocals, bass, and woodwinds, and Dr. Curtis on Mandolin, Guitar, Banjo, and vocals.  Their favorite place to play is the Rhythm Kitchen Music Cafe', in downtown Peoria on Water Street.
