Dr. Safdari is a pioneer in the solar energy field for over 30 years. His lifelong dedication to solar energy has produced a long list of accomplishment some of which include: The first solar heated house in the Midwest using solar thermal technology, Worldwide patents on solar thermal air furnaces, Numerous commercial applications of thermal and PV technologies, Ongoing basic research as a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Bradley University since 1964.
